(no subject)

So the university is having its first 'rape awareness week' this week, and obviously I want to get involved. Since about the only thing I'm particularly good at is acting, I volunteered to be part of an awareness-raising night, including some live music, some improv comedy (...) and readings from A Memory, a Monologue, a Rant and a Prayer - a collection of monologues put together as part of the V-Day project. (You know the Vagina Monologues? That V-Day.)

( Now that I've read the monologue that they'd like me to do I'm unsure about participating. Worries about raising awareness vs accientally sending the wrong message. )
