Written for cidercupcakes' HOME TEAM BATTLE. Also because the idea of Katara as a MI6 agent is too *___* for words.

"A vengeance demon," Elizabeth mused, stirring her tea thoughtfully. "I would not usually entertain the notion as anything other than absurd, but you must understand that my sister has been very sorely used."

"Believe me: not judging." The peculiar girl in the peculiar shop leaned forwards. "Just make sure you check out the fine print."

She'd been saying similarly incomprehensible things all afternoon. Elizabeth gave her an arch look, and Miss Jenkins burst out with, "Oh, people from your time period speak funny too!"

They stared at each other for a long moment. Elizabeth broke first, falling into a fit of laughter; Miss Jenkins gave her a long, blank look before mirth overtook her as well. They almost unsettled the tea.

Elizabeth may have failed in her errand for Kitty's ribbons, but couldn't help feel she'd found something quite extraordinary instead.

So I'm adding people that I have friended on DW! (Harder than it might seem.) I'm sure nobody minds but I AM MILDLY PARANOID ABOUT THESE THINGS AND FELT AN EXPLANATION MIGHT BE NICE.

Incidentally, I've just been reminded of IT IS I, REMUS JOHN LUPIN and trying to remember why the hell he'd even say that. Too bad I don't own any of the HP books any more.
